Business Development Representative

About Winclap

Winclap is a dynamic company dedicated to transforming the way businesses build, optimize, and execute their growth strategies. Our end-to-end solutions include Paid Media, Owned Media, Content, Tech & Data, ASO, SEO, and Growth Consulting. We partner with our clients to help them acquire, retain, and monetize users through innovative, data-driven approaches.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who sits at the intersection of Partnerships, Marketing, and Sales. Your mission will be to generate new business opportunities by turning our network of partners and prospects into qualified discovery meetings for the Sales team.

You won't be responsible for closing deals; your role is to open the door. Find the conversation, earn the opportunity, and hand it over to the Sales team in the best possible condition.

The ideal candidate combines a strong commercial mindset with the ability to maximize the value of both partnership initiatives and a disciplined, high-volume outbound operation on LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities

1. Turn Partnership Projects into Business Opportunities

At Winclap, we collaborate on multiple projects with partners such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Amplitude, CleverTap, as well as Content Partnership initiatives. These projects create valuable touchpoints with clients and prospects, but we currently lack a consistent process to convert them into business opportunities. You will be responsible for designing and executing that process.

  • Project Mapping: Identify all projects carried out alongside partners.
  • Stakeholder Mapping: Identify the key stakeholders involved in each project.
  • Proactive Outreach: Reach out to stakeholders proactively to initiate conversations.
  • Value-Driven Conversations: Generate conversations that provide real value to prospects, rather than simply delivering a sales pitch.
  • Discovery Generation: Convert those conversations into qualified discovery meetings for the Sales team.
  • Persistent Follow-Up: Consistently follow up until securing either a response or a meeting.

2. Execute the Outbound Strategy (Inmotion)

You will be responsible for the daily execution of Inmotion, our outbound strategy, primarily based on LinkedIn and complemented by email when appropriate.

  • Daily Execution: Live and breathe this strategy every day; it is the core of your role.
  • Campaign Management: Execute prospecting campaigns using predefined target lists.
  • Personalization: Tailor outreach messages according to each prospect and their context.
  • Responsiveness: Reply quickly to conversations to maintain momentum.
  • Follow-Up Discipline: Track and follow up on every prospect throughout the pipeline.
  • Continuous Optimization: Test and improve messaging, sequences, and targeting based on performance and results.
  • Discovery Generation: Deliver high-quality discovery meetings to the Sales team.
  • Operate Under the Segment Leaders' Identity: Outreach messages are sent on behalf of the Segment Leaders (Eve, Bauti, Rami, Joao), not under your own name. Your role is to secure the meeting, not to build a personal outbound brand.

Minimum requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field that develops critical thinking and strong logical/analytical reasoning (e.g., Economics, Engineering).
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience. Previous experience in B2B outbound prospecting or selling services to businesses is highly valued, even more than specific knowledge of the digital marketing industry.
  • Commercial Instinct: This is the non-negotiable requirement for the role. Strong ability to identify and generate business opportunities, with a genuine interest in building a career in Sales.
  • Tools: Previous experience with our tech stack (HubSpot, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is not required—you'll learn it here. What matters most is the ability to learn quickly and adapt easily to new tools.
  • Organization & Discipline: Ability to consistently execute repetitive commercial processes while maintaining quality, following up with every prospect until reaching an outcome.
  • Persistence & Energy: Comfortable managing multiple follow-ups without losing momentum or professionalism.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build trust and establish strong relationships with stakeholders across different seniority levels and functional areas.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging, personalized outreach messages rather than generic templates.
  • Curiosity: Genuine interest in learning about marketing, growth, technology, and digital transformation.
  • Results Orientation: Motivated by clear goals and comfortable being measured by both activity and outcomes.
  • Languages: Native Spanish and professional English. Portuguese is a strong plus.
