Senior Full Stack Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to sit at the intersection of Product Engineering, AI Engineering, and Platform Development. This is a highly hands-on role where you will design, build, and scale AI-native products and internal platforms that power Winclap's operations and future growth.
You will own features end-to-end—from data models and APIs to user interfaces, AI workflows, and production deployment. In this role, you will help define how modern software engineering evolves inside Winclap—not only by writing code, but by actively collaborating with AI coding agents, designing agentic systems, and building the internal capabilities that allow our teams to operate at an unprecedented scale.
Core Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
What You'll Do
- Full-Stack Product Delivery: Design, build, and ship end-to-end features across our products and internal platforms. You will own the entire lifecycle from technical design and scalable PostgreSQL data modeling to frontend implementation, production deployment, and monitoring, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Data teams.
- AI-Native Systems & Orchestration: Architect and implement agentic workflows using modern LLM frameworks. You will build production-grade AI systems involving tool use, structured generation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and context/memory management, while establishing evaluation frameworks and quality controls for these automated outputs.
- AI-Augmented Engineering: Integrate AI coding agents (such as Claude Code, Cursor, and future agentic environments) as a core part of your daily development workflow. You will design and maintain custom agent capabilities, skills, prompts, and MCP servers, helping define the best practices for human-agent collaboration within the engineering team.
- Engineering Excellence & Integrations: Write clean, highly maintainable, and well-tested code while raising the technical bar through code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentorship. Additionally, you will connect and maintain robust APIs with third-party ecosystems (cloud services, marketing tools, communication and creator platforms), ensuring high reliability and observability.
Minimum requirements
What We're Looking For
Technical Depth
- 5+ years of professional experience building and scaling production software systems.
- Production-grade TypeScript expertise across both backend and frontend environments.
- Strong Node.js experience building robust APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Solid React & Next.js experience, including modern component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, and data modeling).
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP), containers (Docker), and modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.
AI Engineering & Mindset
- Hands-on AI Experience: Proven track record building AI-powered products, internal tools, or automated workflows using LLM platforms (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.).
- Agentic Frameworks: Experience working with agentic workflows, tool use, structured outputs, orchestration patterns, and retrieval systems (RAG, embeddings, or vector databases like pgvector).
- AI-Native Mindset: You naturally seek to eliminate repetitive tasks, think in terms of system-wide automation, and view AI as a force multiplier for human capability.
- Continuous Learner: You actively experiment with emerging AI development practices, tools (Cursor, Claude Code), and technologies (MCP servers).
Soft Skills
- A strong individual contributor who leads by example, participates in architecture discussions, and mentors other engineers.
- Ability to balance development speed, code quality, and business impact in fast-moving product environments.
- Able to articulate complex technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the company.
- Experience with Next.js, Vercel AI SDK, or similar AI application frameworks.
- Experience building MCP servers, custom agent tooling, or AI development workflows.
- Experience with vector databases (pgvector), embeddings, and semantic retrieval.
- Experience with real-time systems, event-driven architectures, or queue-based processing systems.
Our Tech Stack
- Backend: Node.js, Next.js, REST APIs, Real-time services.
- Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Modern component libraries.
- AI: Claude, OpenAI, Vercel AI SDK, MCPs, Agent orchestration frameworks.
- Data & Infrastructure: TypeScript, SQL, PostgreSQL, pgvector, Redis, GCP, AWS, Vercel, Docker.
- Tooling: GitHub, CI/CD, Automated testing, AI coding agents.
What Makes This Role Unique
Not a Traditional Engineering Team: You're joining a company actively building toward an AI-native operating model where software, agents, workflows, and people work together as a single system.
High-Impact Ownership: Direct partnership with the Technology Director, with real cross-company impact across Content, Data, Media, Operations, and Internal Platforms.
Culture of Innovation: A team genuinely committed to AI-native execution, experimentation, and continuous learning within a remote-first culture built on autonomy.
